Caregiver and Volunteer Training!

Caregivers help people stay in their homes despite conditions that otherwise would make them move off island or into institutional care. To help increase the number of caregivers available to people wanting to stay in their homes, Hospice of San Juan now offers Community Caregiver training alongside its New Volunteer training. Training takes place over three 6-hour days, with all sessions run by professionals. Each training participant undergoes a background check as part of our screening process. Everyone who passes the background check and successfully completes all 3 days of training receives a Certificate of Completion.
